I need some help, when I double click on an icon or folder, what have you.
The files that are contained inside do not display. Instead when the window
opens it displays a search window. I ran regsvr32 /i shell32 and it didn't
change anything. I'm on XP home.

Automated FIx :
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/regs_edits/folderopenssearch.reg

Manual Fix :
Click Start > Run
Type "regedit" (Without quotes)
Click OK > Go to :
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell]
Right side, double click "Default" and change it to "none" (Without quotes)
