Post subject: Debug Assertion Failed
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>general (more info?)

Hi all,

I keep getting a Microsoft Visual C++ Debug Library error saying:

=========================================
Debug Assertion Failed!
Program: c:\program files\internet explorer\iexplore.exe
File: c:\program files\microsoft visual studio 8\vc\include\list
Line: 776

Expression: list erase iterator outside range
=========================================
It only appears when I am using Internet Explorer or Outlook and is really
starting to annoy me. I have tried updating and re-installing but to no
avail.

I don't have Visual Studio installed anymore (the problems started before I
uninstalled it) so I am not sure why it is looking in the c:\program
files\microsoft visual studio\.... folder.

Any ideas would greatfully be received.

Thanks
