Have you tried using compatibility mode for the installation? Select the
install file (usually setup.exe or install.exe) and right-click, then select
Compatibility, and choose to run as Windows 98. After the installation,
right-click the icon for the program (either on your desktop or under All
Programs) and again set the compatibility to Win98.
