We have a laptop with a bios password that was supposedly
deleted and now we can't get past the bios log in
screen. How can this be removed?

You'll have to contact the manufacturer of the laptop
computer and request a BIOS reset disk. The following
web site may be of help:

Sometimes you can "short the bios". Turn off the computer, there should be a
jumper near the bios chip, set the jumper to shunt the bios, boot up, It
will not, Turn the computer off and reverse the jumper, reboot and now see
of the problem is gone.
Have used this trick many times.
