Post subject: Aggrevated with CHOPPY movie playback Get Alert
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>video (more info?)

Hello to the people of the computer world. I am in a bit of a stooper and ask
for guidance. Just recently when playing back my downloaded movies they are
very choppy/flicker, yet the sound is constant. I have Windows XP Home
Edition, Windows Media Player 11, and use DivX as my codecs package. At this
point I have not a clue what to do. Everything I have attempted has either
slightly corrected the problem or made it worse. I have looked all over the
Internet for advice and the solutions I have found have not worked or I have
failed to find the correct solution. As I stated before this was not a
problem of the past. PLEASE, HELP ME! Any advice is greatly appreciated.
