Age Of Empires 3 Does Not Start

So I bought the game a few days ago, installed it, got this error. So I uninstalled it then tried again, and it still doesn't work. I can't find anything about this error code anywhere. After installing AOE, when i open it the graphics don't all appear. for example, the buildings and cliffs appear black. also, random things like treasure and animals apear in a clearish yellow color (only their silhouette). After about a minute of playing, the game closes and an error report ..
