I had Acronis True Image on my computer, but uninstalled it.

I have started maintenance, and by checking what programs etc. load when my
computer starts, I found schedul2.exe, an Acronis file, and I eventually
found it here:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Seagate\Schedule2\schedul2.exe

I would like to ask those who may know what an Acronis file does hiding
under a Seagate folder (I have a Seagate hard drive)? It seems strange to me.

Regards,

Hans L

Your Seagate DiskWizard installation CD uses software from Acronis to
help setup a new hard disk.

Now, having digested this, I have a question: Is it really necessary to have
this service running all the time, or can I set it to Manual in
Administrative Tools – Services?

You have a question about software provided by Seagate, so you have a
question for Seagate technical support.
