I don't know if it will work with Vista. I'm on my XP pc right now. Try the
cipher command.

cipher /s:c:\ /q > "%USERPROFILE%\My Documents\encrypted.txt"

This will list all the folders on C:\ and their encryption status in a file
called encryption.txt in My Documents.

Let us know if it works in Vista.

Windows Protected Operating System Files - Any idea why you cannot access any of the protected operating system files? You can't access Documents and Settings Folder, Local Settings or Application Data.

Best AV for Vista #5384 - After my documented issues with running AVG Pro on Vista when it was installed on my XP disc also. AVG works provided I keep UAC disabled (most do anyway) I am considering a new AV to make sure everything is working - tried Avast but it slowed boot..
