Hi all,

I just install the brand new Windows Vista Enterprise on my laptop, and I
have the first login screen with only one profile = TempLogon
I try several passwords but none is working fine.

I'm sure it's a tiny issue and it's almost embarassing to ask you all this,
but I'll be pleased to get a quick feedback!

Thanks,

This happened once to me, gave me a temp profile logon...I rebooted and it
cleared up. Other than that I have no idea what to say here since you can't
log on at all. Hope a reboot works Smile

The reboot didn't work. I still have the TempLogon profile.

Right now, I'm just amazed with that kind of behaviour from Vista. I really
hope one guy from the Core team can figure it out really soon because it is
anoying!

Note: I didn't set up any user profile during the install, so far! Just the
name of the PC.

Help is needed and appreciated !

When you turn on the machine press and hold F8 to go to the boot menu. from there, pick 'Safe Mode with Networking'. when the machine starts, you should be able to log in as the Admin (Username: Administrator - Password:password). When windows starts you can go to Start>Control Panel>User Accounts to add anyone you need to.
