After creating a new email when I click on the Spell check icon I receive the
following pop up window error.

"This language is no longer available for spell checking. Please select
another in the spelling options dialog"

I went to Tools > Options > Spelling

English was already chosen, so something was not working.

I resolved my issue by reselecting english and applying the change, this
worked!

Thanks Judy for the help! This worked great. Do you know what to do when
you type and email, attach a file and then send it? I did that the other day
and the people did not get my attachments. I did this with the new Windows
Vista and Office 2007 word document as the attachment

It's not under Tools/Spelling

It is Tools--Options then select the spelling tab.

I tried doing the same thing but it still didn't let me use spell check. Do
you need to restart your computer?

Are you talking about the tool bar on Windows Mail? If so, mine doesn't have
an options choice. Where do I locate the tools you are talking about?

I am receiving the Spell Check error too. I also do not have an Options
choice under Tools in Windows Mail?

Thanks for taking the time to help. I see the problem now. When I had a
message open and clicked on Tools there was no options choice. But when I
simply open Windows Mail the Tools>Options choice appears. I ugraded to
Vista Ultimate on 2/1--I am learning--but it's fun.

Thanks.

Like a few others have mentioned, I also do NOT have "options" listed under
Tools in Windows Mail (I'm running Vista Home Premium). The listings under
Tools do not include "Options" anywhere in the list. The spell check problem
stills persists!!
