Everything was working fine, but after a blue screen, Explorer and IExplorer
keep reporting a problem and restarting.

Any one any ideas?

Personally I would try System File Checker and see if that will clear it up.

Not a good sign. If no other ideas less severe are offered, there is the
repair install and then the most severe, the total install.
