Hello everyone, I have tried to scan my computer with anti virus programs and
spyware programs and nothing comes up. When ever I am surfing the internet
or just idling on my favorite websites, IE opens up random pop ups and every
so often it would open a string a windows and multiple tabs freezing up my
computer. Just writing this message I must of had about 10 pop ups come up.
Has anyone experienced this?

Try this: http://siri.urz.free.fr/Fix/SmitfraudFix_En.php but as you've
posted in a Vista group that is actually not compatible with Vista yet...

Try this one: http://www.superantispyware.com/superantispywarefreevspro.html

If it persists then use Hijackthis and post its log in any of these forums:

Download HiJackThis: http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html

Browser Hijack help and how to post results.

Hi Philip,

Check these settings in IE7 also:
1. Click Tools
2. Scroll down to "Pop-up Blocker" and Click "Turn on Pop-up Blocker".

Hope this helps,
Shawn
